He has developed his career in developing, promoting, and managing infrastructures, holding positions of responsibility both in top international construction companies and in the financial sector.
Juan José has been Director of Acciona Concesiones for 12 years (in two periods), with responsibilities in the bidding, execution and operation of infrastructure assets at a global level: LatAm (Chile, Brazil), North America (Canada), Oceania ( Australia and New Zealand), and Europe. He previously worked at Caja Madrid, where he led the Project Finance department.
Between 2005 and 2013, Juan José led the Ahorro Corporación project in the infrastructure sector, being responsible for AC Infrastructure Fund and the JESSICA initiative. He has been on the board of directors, among other companies, of the Sidney Lightrail (Sidney Tram), of the operating company of Line 6 of the Sao Paulo metro (Brazil), Vespucio Sur (Chile), and at the national level of TRAM Baix and TRAM Besos (Barcelona Tramways), from the Zaragoza Tram, Autovía de los Viñedos, Henarsa, Autovía de los Pantanos, M45, etc. He was also a member of the board of Metro Ligero Oeste, Aseguramiento Técnico de la Calidad, Telecom CLM, among others.
He is a graduate in Economics from CEU and a master in Financial Management from the Instituto de Empresa.
