Buenavista Equity Partners (“Buenavista”), a Private Equity firm specializing in the lower/mid-market segment in Spain, has won at the 2025 Premios al Capital Privado en España (‘Private Equity Awards in Spain’) in the category of Best Growth Capital Deal for its divestment in Envases Soplados (ENSO), a leading provider of PET packaging solutions for the food sector. The awards are organized by SpainCAP, the Spanish Association for Capital, Growth, and Investment, to recognize the most relevant private equity and venture capital transactions completed over the past year.

Buenavista Equity Partners, together with the founding team of ENSO, designed a comprehensive strategy that combined inorganic growth, product diversification, and expansion into new segments of the food sector. Key initiatives included the acquisition of four complementary companies in Spain and Portugal, the vertical integration of the process through in-house production of PET preforms, and the implementation of ESG measures such as the use of rPET and the installation of solar energy systems.

Thanks to this strategic management, ENSO was able to triple its sales, increasing from €22 million to over €60 million in 2024. In addition, the company doubled its workforce and established itself as a benchmark in the PET food packaging sector, which is characterized by high entry barriers and a strong reputation in the Iberian market.
