Javier is a Non-Operating Partner at Buenavista Ventures, responsible for maintaining relationships with the portfolio companies. With 35 years of experience in corporate strategy and management, he has held senior roles across various industries. Over the course of his career, he has served on the boards of directors for Canadean Ltd (2003-2010), Industrias Alimentarias de Navarra (1998-2015), and Papelera Zicuñaga (2010-present).
From 1988 to 2016, Javier served as Director for Latin America, Iberia, and North Africa at Canadean Ltd, and held the position of Commercial Director at KBR import-export in Miami, USA (1995-1997), as well as at Elopak BV. In 2016, he became CEO of Bayes Forecast, a company dedicated to modeling, forecasting, and optimization for business decision-making.
His entrepreneurial spirit is demonstrated by his founding of Diaral SA (1983-1985) and his involvement in various companies, including First Class, Social Tech, Grupo Bayes Forecast, and Trocasport, reflecting a consistent commitment to innovation and business growth.
