João Mascarenhas Castro Investment & Portfolio Manager Portugal João is a Investment & Portfolio Manager at Buenavista Ventures Portugal, having joined the company in June 2023. Before joining Buenavista Ventures, he worked for BiG (Banco de Investimento Global) for over a year as a Corporate Finance Senior Analyst, where he gained experience in M&A, Valuations and Debt Raising operations, across multiple industries such as digital payments and food&beverage. João holds a master’s degree in Finance, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Management from NOVA SBE, as well as an exchange program at Prague’s University of Economics and Business. He is fluent in English, with Portuguese being his mother tongue.
