Our portfolio company Vitro has developed an innovative solution for women’s health: a self-administered, remote test for the prevention of the human papillomavirus (HPV) and other sexually transmitted infections. This initiative provides preventive and clinically validated diagnostic tests to healthcare professionals and patients.

The solution includes a PCR kit for HPV detection and a direct flow chip kit for HPV, designed to detect 14 high-risk HPV genotypes and fully genotype 35 HPV genotypes, respectively. The test is distributed directly to hospitals and laboratories under its brand “Vitro” and is also available to consumers through the Knomy brand, which can be purchased directly through its website.
