Shop & Roll
Eco-design as a route to efficiency and competitive positioning
Shop & Roll has incorporated life-cycle analysis and material optimisation into selected products. This improves resource efficiency and helps strengthen its commercial positioning in markets that are increasingly demanding in terms of traceability and sustainability. Thanks to this analysis, the company identifies opportunities for improvement in material selection, manufacturing processes and product logistics, helping to minimise waste. Among the initiatives developed, the introduction of eco-design stands out, having reduced emissions by up to 3.09%, in an effort complemented by other collaborations that reinforce the company’s environmental credibility with customers and other stakeholders.
Material optimisation and improved product design also help protect margins against raw-material cost volatility, improve the predictability of industrial costs over the medium term, and strengthen commercial value propositions in procurement processes that are increasingly sensitive to environmental criteria. In this way, integrating these initiatives simultaneously improves operational efficiency by driving competitive differentiation.
