BUENAVISTA BUYOUT INNVIERTE III ESPAÑA, FCR is a fund managed by BUENAVISTA BUYOUT, SGEIC, SA (Buenavista), focused on the low and mid-market segment. It primarily targets key sectors such as healthcare, industry, services and food, where there is significant scope for qualitative improvements, particularly in terms of digitalisation, transformation and technological optimisation of its portfolio companies. The fund aims to acquire majority stakes in Spanish businesses with high growth and international expansion potential, and with the capacity to lead sector consolidation through a buy & build strategy.
The fund, which has a target size of €250 million, aims to make between 8 and 10 investments and has the capacity to carry out add-on acquisitions. The average investment ticket is expected to be between €25 and €30 million, enabling the fund to scale and enhance its portfolio companies by accelerating their growth through the professionalisation of management teams, process digitalisation, the application of AI, and the development of innovation capabilities. The ultimate goal is to maximise value in highly competitive exit processes.

Innvierte
Innvierte is an initiative designed to promote business innovation by supporting private equity investment in technology-based or innovative companies. The programme is managed through Innvierte Economía Sostenible, a self-managed closed-end investment company supervised by the Spanish Securities Market Commission (CNMV), in which CDTI Innovación is the sole shareholder.
Up to date, CDTI Innovación has committed €3.47 billion through Innvierte across 61 investment vehicles, and, via its co-investment line, has directly committed €866.1 million in 197 companies.
Innvierte forms part of the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation 2021-2027, approved by the Council of Ministers in September 2020. This Strategy sets out the objectives, reforms and measures to be implemented across the R&D and innovation sector to drive its growth and impact, and is one of the cornerstones of the Government’s R&D and innovation policy planning for the coming years.

The Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI E.P.E., in Spanish) is the innovation agency of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, with a mandate to promote technological innovation in the business sector. CDTI’s mission is to ensure that Spanish businesses generate and transform scientific and technical knowledge into globally competitive, sustainable and inclusive growth. In 2025, under the framework of its 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, CDTI provided €2.42 billion in support to Spanish companies and start-ups.
